Solid bronze nautical sconce marine light. This nautical ship's passageway dock light is constructed of solid bronze! The nautical light is solid marine grade bronze with a heavy duty bronze base along with the included electrical box. The electrical box can be rotated every 90 degrees so you can use your conduit to attach directly to the light fixture. These nautical lights were typically used on old ships to light the "passageways" or corridors. Nautical lights, such as these, are typically called ship lights or passageway or pathway lights. Furthermore, these nautical lights are super heavy duty with an extra thick glass globe and spin off cage for easy bulb changes.
This nautical light weighs an incredible 8 1/2 pounds! Make sure your boat dock can hold this heavy item. Try to find one of these at your local home improvement stores! These nautical lights are perfect for the saltwater environment and are able to withstand the harsh outdoor environments. Perfect for front doorways, boat docks, boat houses, nautical restaurants and interior house area use as well. You will be extremely happy with this high quality light. Sold NOT-wired. What do you get with our "Optional" Nautical Light Wiring?:
A) EXTERIOR WIRING uses a heavy SJO exterior grade wire with a 12" lead out the back or 8 foot lead out the bottom. It also includes a water tight compression fitting where the wire exits. You can easily make the wiring connection inisde the box that is attached to the light. Furthermore, we include some mounting hardware, new heavy duty maritime socket and incandescant 40 watt bulb. We even put some antiseize on the threads so you can open the fixture many years down the road. Also, we make this easy for your electrician to install.
B) INTERIOR WIRING consists of a yellow "lamp cord" style and is suited for interior use ONLY. Perfect for mounting inside.
